Unlocking the Fire Seal: A Guide for Fields of Mistria Players

Following the March 10 update in *Fields of Mistria*, players can now reach the Fire Seal by clearing the preceding altars. To unlock this seal, you'll need to gather four specific items: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Here's a detailed guide on how to obtain each of these items and ultimately unlock the Fire Seal.

Where to Find Faceted Rock Gem in Fields of Mistria

The Faceted Rock Gem is a rare artifact located within the mines of *Fields of Mistria*. Ensure your game is updated, then navigate through the mines until you reach Floors 50-59. We discovered this gem on Floor 56 after some diligent digging. Like other artifacts, you'll need to use your pickaxe or shovel to excavate it from designated spots on the ground. Be prepared for some grinding, as this item is not easy to come by.

Where to Find Rockroot in Fields of Mistria

Rockroot is a common forageable found between Floors 50-59 in the mines. If you're a regular in the mines, you might already have this item in your inventory. If not, keep an eye out for a dark, root-like plant as shown in the image above. You'll only need one to fulfill the Priestess' altar requirement.

Where to Find Emerald in Fields of Mistria

Emeralds are relatively easy to find among the offerings needed for the Fire Seal. You can mine Emerald geodes on Floors 50-59 in the mines, which are quite common. Alternatively, you can obtain Emeralds by breaking large boulders scattered around Mistria. They are also available for purchase at Balor’s Wagon for just 200 tesserae. If you've unlocked the new Stone Refinery with the March 2025 update, you can craft them yourself, saving time on searching.

How to Get the Sealing Scroll in Fields of Mistria

The Sealing Scroll is the final item required to unlock the Fire Seal. This item is part of a quest that starts after you meet Juniper upon discovering the seal. You'll need to enlist Balor's help to acquire the scroll, but it won't come free. To obtain the Sealing Scroll, you must provide:

• x10 Silver Ingots
• x10 Rubies
• x10 Sapphires
• x10 Emeralds

If you're short on any of these, you can find them in the mines. Once you've gathered the necessary items, deposit them in the bin next to Balor’s Wagon.

Unlocking the Fire Seal

With the Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot in your inventory, return to Floor 60 of the mines to make your offering. This action will unlock the Fire Seal, granting access to a new biome and more content during the Early Access phase of *Fields of Mistria*.
