Dark and Darker Mobile's eagerly awaited pre-season #3, dubbed 'Grappling with the Abyss,' is now live and will run until June 10th. This season introduces a wealth of new content, echoing the trend seen in games like Sonic Rumble, where soft launch players are treated to a plethora of features and events.
One of the standout additions this season is the Arena mode, bringing competitive PvP to the game. In this mode, players can engage in 3v3, best-of-five deathmatches on randomized maps. To participate, you'll need to reach at least level 10 and have a minimum equipment score of 500. You can also bring along a hired mercenary companion to bolster your team.
Another major feature is the Shadow Realm, a new PvE mode where players can tackle weekly, escalating boss battles. To summon these formidable bosses, you'll first need to clear waves of lesser monsters, making it a challenging endeavor. Access to this mode is available once you reach account level 15.
This pre-season #3 update also includes numerous other enhancements. The Guild Encampment provides a social hub for Guild members to interact and socialize. The Soulstone system, unlocked at account level 8, allows players to equip a monster's soulstone to gain unique traits. Additionally, the Stat Tree system introduces persistent progression, complementing the influx of new loot, monsters, gear, and quality-of-life improvements.
