Clash of Clans, a cornerstone of mobile gaming, is about to undergo a significant transformation that will change the way players engage with the game. Supercell is set to eliminate troop training times entirely, allowing players to deploy their armies almost instantly and dive into battles faster than ever before. This follows the removal of training costs back in 2022, marking another major step in modernizing the game for its dedicated fanbase.
With this update, Training Potions and Training Treats will no longer be available for purchase or found in chest rewards. They will still be obtainable through the Trader and Gold Pass for now, but players are urged to use them before the end of the month, as they will be converted to Gems thereafter.
To complement this change, Supercell is introducing a new feature called "Match Anytime." This allows players to attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real opponents are available, ensuring continuous gameplay and rewards without affecting the original base owner. This mechanic, already used in Clan Wars and Legend League attacks, will now be a standard feature.
Additional changes include the requirement of Elixirs or Dark Elixirs for Army Donations. For a comprehensive overview of these updates and more, players are encouraged to visit the Supercell blog.
