Running a livestock farm in Fields of Mistria can be lucrative, but the daily chore of petting your animals can quickly become tedious. Fortunately, while the base game doesn't include an auto-petter, modding offers a solution.

The Animal Friends mod offers several customizable features: auto-petting, auto-feeding, a friendship multiplier, and prevention of friendship loss. The multiplier increases the hearts your animals gain, while friendship loss prevention ensures earned hearts are retained.
Configuration (AnimalFriends.json):
This file, located within the extracted Animal Friends mod folder, allows you to adjust settings. To enable a feature, change "false" to "true." For example, to activate auto-feeding: ["auto-feed": true]
. To disable, change "true" to "false".
The friendship multiplier uses a numerical value (1-100). A setting of 100 skips the bonding process; 1 disables the feature.
Default Settings:
Upon initial installation, auto-petting and auto-feeding are inactive. However, the mod multiplies petting heart gains by five and automatically activates friendship loss prevention.
Uninstallation:
To avoid save file corruption, use the Mods of Mistria Installer to uninstall the mod.
Remember to back up your save file before installing any mods. While generally stable, backups are always a good precaution.
