What do you get if you cross one of the biggest game companies in the world, a huge anime expo and a massive new game? You get Webzen, the company behind MU Online and R2 Online announcing its latest title, TERBIS, at the Summer Comiket 2024 in Tokyo.TERBIS is a PC/Mobile cross-platform character-collecting RPG that features some awesome-looking features that we’re champing at the bit to get our hands on.

For one thing, the game looks sublime, with a stylish anime look that fans of the genre are going to absolutely adore. The different characters have fully fleshed out backstories too, meaning you can learn more about them as you play.
On top of all that, the game features real-time combat. Depending on the character you’re using, fights will play out differently. Some characters are quicker, they have different stats and relationships, and you can tweak your formation to make sure you’re getting the optimum out of your team as well.

The game was introduced at Summer Anime Expo 2024 in Tokyo at the TERBIS booth, where the excitement among visitors was tangible. The crowd hummed with enthusiasm as they lined up to receive exclusive TERBIS goodies, such as fashionable shopping bags and practical fans – which were a major success when it came to cooling down at the expo.
Adding to the lively atmosphere were cosplayers dressed as characters from the game – who thrilled attendees with their intricate costumes. The booth also featured engaging activities like votes, surveys, and social media drives, which kept the energy high and the crowd involved. The passionate visitors, caught up in the excitement, eagerly participated in every aspect of the event, making it a remarkable sensation at the expo.
Summer Anime Expo 2024 took place at the Tokyo Big Sight (aka the Tokyo International Exhibition Centre) from August 11-12. It’s a biannual show with a focus on manga and anime content from independent producers.

To give you some idea of considerable scale, the event drew more than a quarter of a million visitors over two days.
If you want to keep up to date with all things TERBIS, the game’s Japanese social media and Korean social media pages are live right now, and you can click here to make sure you don’t miss out on any news or information from the game ever again.
