The excitement for Warframe's 1999 expansion continues to build, and the upcoming Techrot Encore update, set to release on March 19th, is bringing a wave of fresh content that promises to captivate fans. This update introduces a turn-of-the-millennium vibe with the return of the ARG band as thrilling boss battles, ensuring an engaging experience.
Techrot Encore will expand the game with four new Protoframes: Flare, Minerva, Kaya, and Velimir II, adding diverse characters to the battle. Alongside them, the 60th Warframe, Temple, enters the fray, equipped with Techrot Subwoofer minions and a sapient guitar named Lizzie, ready to shake things up.
For seasoned players, the update doesn't skimp on challenges. Two new endgame stages are on the horizon. In Stage Defense, you'll defend Scaldra during a memorial show for fallen comrades as Scaldra reclaims the city. Meanwhile, Temporal Archimedea challenges you to team up with Minerva and Velimir II for three consecutive missions, with the Peely Pix system dynamically altering your modifiers for a fresh experience each time.
A touching addition to the game comes in the form of the Atomicycle racing mini-game, Ollie's Crash Course, located in the Höllvania Mall Hub arcade collection. This feature honors the Make-A-Wish commitment from James Conlin, adding a heartfelt element to the update.
As we approach Tennocon 2025, and with the relaunch of an open beta for the upgraded Warframe Companion App, there's no shortage of reasons for Warframe enthusiasts to be thrilled this March.
