After much anticipation and numerous rumors, Activision has officially released the debut trailer for the eagerly awaited remake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4. Developed by Iron Galaxy, who have succeeded Vicarious Visions (the creators of THPS 1+2), this updated version promises to captivate fans with enhanced graphics, the introduction of online multiplayer, and new playable characters such as Rayssa Leal, Nyjah Huston, and Yuto Horigome. The trailer highlights reimagined classic locations like Airport, Tokyo, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, all brought to life with cutting-edge technology. It also includes a side-by-side comparison showcasing the graphical improvements between the original and the new version of the game.
The game will feature legendary skaters such as Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, and Rodney Mullen. However, it appears that Bam Margera will not be part of the lineup. Those who opt for the Digital Deluxe edition will enjoy exclusive characters like Doom Slayer and Revenant. Additionally, the developers are committed to reviving a portion of the original soundtrack, featuring tracks from Motorhead, Gang Starr, and CKY, enhancing the nostalgic feel of the game.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 remasters are set to launch on July 11 across multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series, and PC. Pre-ordering the game grants players early access to a demo in June and the full game three days ahead of the official release date.
