The G3, which debuted in 2023, is one generation behind the latest G4 model (no "G5" has been released yet), but it still outperforms any other TV in LG's lineup, including all other OLED models, with the exception of the 2024 G4. The LG G-series OLED surpasses the C-series, both of which use an "Evo" panel that's brighter than traditional W-OLED TVs. The G-series, however, takes it a step further with MLA (micro lens array) technology, which boosts brightness even more. This feature significantly increases the cost but elevates the image quality to match or even surpass that of Samsung's quantum dot OLED TVs.
