Following a now-traditional esports announcement pattern, Ubisoft unveiled "Siege X," a significant evolution of Rainbow Six Siege, just ahead of the world championship grand finals. This isn't simply a sequel or a minor update; Ubisoft hints at a transformation comparable to Counter-Strike 2's impact on Global Offensive – a substantial overhaul retaining player progress and data.

A dedicated three-hour presentation on March 13th in Atlanta, featuring a live audience, will detail Siege X.
