This design strongly resembles leaked images circulating online, fueling speculation of an imminent PS5 Pro launch.
The image, part of the anniversary logo, was discovered by a keen-eyed community member. This discovery has ignited a flurry of speculation, with many predicting an official unveiling, potentially coinciding with a rumored State of Play event later this month. While Sony remains officially silent, the buzz surrounding a PS5 Pro reveal is intensifying.
Meanwhile, Sony is celebrating PlayStation's 30th anniversary with a series of exciting events. These include a free Gran Turismo 7 trial, digital soundtracks from iconic PlayStation games, and the upcoming "Shapes of Play" collection, launching in December 2024 via direct.playstation.com in select regions (US, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and Benelux). A free online multiplayer weekend and esports tournaments are also scheduled for September 21st and 22nd, offering PlayStation Plus-free online play on PS5 and PS4 consoles.
