Get ready for an action-packed day as Pokémon Go's Sparring Partners Raid Day hits on April 13th. From 2:00 to 5:00 pm local time, you’ll have a three-hour window to showcase your battling prowess, hunt for Shiny Pokémon, and take on some of the fiercest fighters in the game.
The star of the show is Mega Heracross, making its grand entrance in Mega Raids. But don’t overlook Hariyama and Scraggy, who will also be powering into regular raids with increased Shiny encounter rates. It’s a full-on Fighting-type event, so arm yourself with the best counters to come out on top.
Beyond the raids, the event introduces a new Charged Attack: Upper Hand. This move packs a punch with 70 power in Trainer Battles and can lower your opponent’s Defense. In raids and gyms, it hits with a solid 50 power, potentially giving you the upper hand in your next battle.
The event comes with plenty of bonuses to boost your gameplay. Spin Gym Photo Discs to collect up to six free Raid Passes, and for this weekend only, the Remote Raid Pass limit increases to 20, offering more opportunities to battle from a distance.
For $4.99, a ticket unlocks additional perks, including extra Raid Passes, bonus XP, increased Stardust, and a higher drop rate for Rare Candy XL. Plus, you can use *Pokémon Go codes* to snag a variety of free rewards!
