Netflix is adapting the critically acclaimed video game Sifu into a feature film. Initially announced in 2022 as a collaboration between Story Kitchen and Sloclap (the game's developer), the project has significantly expanded its production team. Deadline reports that T.S. Nowlin (known for Maze Runner and Netflix's Project Adam) is now writing the screenplay. While Derek Kolstad's involvement remains unclear, Chad Stahelski (director of the John Wick franchise) and his production company, 87Eleven Entertainment, will serve as executive producers. Stahelski is also attached to the Ghost of Tsushima adaptation.
