Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater's ESRB rating has unveiled the exciting return of the Peep Demo Theater. Dive in to discover more about this feature and the enhancements to the game's camouflage system.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Returning and Improved Features
Peep Demo Theater Returns
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater (MGS Delta) has secured an M for Mature rating from ESRB, and alongside this, it has been confirmed that the Peep Demo Theater, a feature from the original game's Subsistence and HD Collection versions, will make a comeback. This feature allows players to view all cutscenes featuring the female spy EVA in her underwear, with the ability to freely adjust the camera and zoom in on any part of her body. To unlock this, players need to collect all other cutscenes in the Demo Theater, a task that requires completing the game four times.
The mature rating aligns with the game's theme where players take on the role of an elite soldier on a mission behind enemy lines, involving elements of violence and gore. However, the return of the Peep Demo Theater, sometimes referred to as "Creepy mode," has caught many fans off guard due to its explicit and controversial nature.
Faster Camouflage System
In other exciting updates, MGS Delta introduces a streamlined camouflage system. A video shared by METAL GEAR OFFICIAL on March 28 via Twitter (X) showcased this new feature, allowing players to swiftly change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more. The post highlighted, "Change camouflage for faces, uniforms, and more on the fly with this new feature in METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER."
This improvement significantly reduces the time needed to switch camouflage, which was previously a cumbersome process in MGS3. Players no longer need to pause the game and navigate through menus, enhancing the game's pacing and stealth elements, thus enriching the immersive experience of Metal Gear.
As the release date of August 26, 2025, for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC approaches, fans are buzzing with anticipation for the blend of nostalgic features and quality-of-life enhancements.
