Mastering Precursor Basin in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Precursor Basin, following Fire Canyon, presents a seemingly less perilous, yet arguably more challenging, Zoomer-based level in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. This guide details how to complete all objectives, earning you valuable Power Cells and Trophies.
Herd the Moles:
Guide four blind moles back to their burrows using the Zoomer. Use the Zoomer's hop for sharp turns to keep them in pursuit. Completing this nets a Power Cell from the Geologist in Rock Village.
Catch the Flying Lurkers:
Chase and ram into the Flying Lurkers in the same area. Strategically cut them off at turns to efficiently capture them. The final Lurker drops a Power Cell.
Beat Record Time on the Gorge:
Beat the 45-second record on the Gorge race track. Utilize Lurkers for extra height, and strategically collect Blue Eco for speed boosts. Avoid Dark Eco Crates. A sub-40-second time earns a trophy. Mastering the hop-turn is crucial for navigating tight corners and the final pit.
Get the Power Cell Over the Lake:
Navigate the narrow bridges and gaps using precise driving and hops to reach the Power Cell across the lake. The route involves multiple hops and a 180-degree turn.
Cure the Dark Eco Infected Plants:
Charge with Green Eco and drive through the purple plants to cure them. Speed and precision are key, as plants regrow if you take too long.
Navigate the Purple Precursor Rings:
Complete the Purple Precursor Ring challenge before time runs out. The most challenging sections involve precise hops off natural bridges to reach airborne rings.
Navigate the Blue Precursor Rings:
This more difficult ring challenge requires skillful driving and precise hops, especially over the lake and across various elevated sections.
Free the 7 Scout Flies:
Collect all seven Scout Flies scattered throughout the area. Their locations are varied, requiring exploration of different sections of Precursor Basin.
Completing all these objectives will reward you with multiple Power Cells and a trophy, demonstrating mastery of Precursor Basin's unique challenges.
