NetEase's post-apocalyptic shooter, Once Human, initiates its first cross-play beta test. This closed beta allows players to experience the seamless cross-progression functionality slated for the mobile launch in April. The test confirms the ability to effortlessly switch between devices.
Following the success of Marvel Rivals, NetEase's PC release of Once Human, a cooperative eldritch shooter, is finally making its way to mobile. The game casts players as survivors in a supernatural apocalypse, tasked with rebuilding society and battling monstrous threats. Even fellow survivors might pose a challenge.
Once Human's blend of stunning visuals and intense run-and-gun gameplay has generated significant anticipation. While previous beta tests occurred, this cross-progression feature is a major draw. It's likely the last opportunity for hands-on experience before the April launch.
A Unique Take on Survival
The beta test runs until March 30th, with registration still open. While Once Human might not have achieved the same PC audience as Marvel Rivals, its stylish gameplay is perfectly suited for mobile. The upcoming mobile release is excellent news for mobile gamers.
