My Hero Academia: The Strongest Announces EOS After 4 Years of Service

My Hero Academia: The Strongest, the popular mobile action RPG based on the hit anime, is ending its run. Xin Yuan Studios recently announced the game's End of Service (EOS), effective March 31st, 2025.

Published by Sony Pictures Television, KOMOE Game Corporation, and A-Plus Japan, the game launched globally in May 2021, allowing players to explore the My Hero Academia universe, recruit beloved characters like Deku, Bakugo, and Todoroki, and engage in missions within a detailed open world.

Closure Details:

  • Server Shutdown: March 31st, 2025.
  • App Store Removal: The game was removed from the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store on February 24th, 2025. In-app purchases were also disabled on this date.
  • Social Media Closure: All official social media accounts will be deleted after the server shutdown.
  • Customer Support: A 30-day customer support window will remain open after the shutdown to address player inquiries.
  • Refunds: Players who made purchases between January 25th and February 24th, 2025, can request refunds before the servers close.
  • Farewell Gift: A final in-game reward will be sent to all players, including SSS+ Limited Time Heroes and 100,000 Hero Coins. Details are available on the game's official website.

Reasons for Closure:

The closure of gacha RPGs is becoming increasingly common. While My Hero Academia: The Strongest enjoyed a strong initial launch with engaging PvP and a robust combat system, a lack of significant updates after its first anniversary and reported mismanagement ultimately led to its demise. Despite this, the game surprisingly lasted for approximately four years.

This concludes our coverage of the game's closure. For more gaming news, check out our article on Legacy – Reawakening, a new point-and-click adventure game.
