Lenovo clarifies recent promotional image: No Halo 5 PC port. A recently circulated promotional image for the Lenovo Legion Go S, suggesting a Steam release of Halo 5: Guardians, was merely a mockup. This leaves Halo 5 as the sole mainline Halo title absent from PC, a curious omission given the 2016 release of its Forge editor.
While Microsoft's increased focus on PC gaming fuels speculation, Lenovo's denial effectively quells current rumors. The promotional image remains online, further suggesting its inaccurate nature. Lenovo's community manager confirmed the image is under review by the design team.
Despite the debunking, hope for a future PC port isn't entirely extinguished. Microsoft's broader PC strategy could still lead to a complete Halo collection on the platform. However, currently, no official confirmation exists.
