In the main quest "Into the Underworld," Katherine will task you with finding Goatskin at the inn in Kuttenberg. While the process involves several steps to trap and corner him, we'll provide a straightforward way to find him.
Goatskin can be found at the top of the barn adjacent to the Black Horse tavern. To reach him, enter the barn located behind the tailor's shop and climb the ladder inside. Keep in mind that this is a private area, so discretion is key.
Once you're on the upper floor of the barn, head straight and drop down into a courtyard. From there, climb onto the carriage and enter another barn through the window.
Navigate to the top of this barn, and you'll find Goatskin. Make sure to do this during the day, as he moves to a different location at night. It's advisable to save your game before initiating a conversation with him, as you'll need to pass several dialogue checks to progress the quest without financial penalties.
If you're not confident in your ability to pass these skill checks, you can pay 150 groschen to move forward. However, if you fail the checks, the cost increases to 500 groschen, which is a significant amount of money.
