As winter's chill lingers in the UK and elsewhere, Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.5 update, titled "Day of the Flame's Return," promises to bring some much-needed warmth. Set to launch on March 26th, this update introduces an exciting new volcano region in Natlan, the Great Volcano of Tollan, along with the hidden Sacred City of Tollan. Players will delve into the mysteries of the Flamelord's Blessing within this ancient Dragonborn-built structure.
But it's not just about fiery landscapes; the update also brings the final tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, and introduces a new Saurian, Tatankasaurus, capable of shattering massive rocks with its sheer power. This addition enriches the game's ecosystem and offers new challenges and adventures.
The volcano region is fraught with dangers, but you won't have to face them alone. Two new characters join the fray: Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user who unleashes massive Electro damage, and Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder from the six heroes of Natlan, who can enhance attack damage while healing her allies. These characters will be invaluable in navigating the new volcanic terrain.
Alongside these additions, the update features a new seasonal event, "Tournament of Glory in Bloom," along with Event Wishes and more, all launching on March 26th. Prepare to immerse yourself in the fiery depths of Natlan with Genshin Impact's version 5.5, "Day of the Flame's Return."
