  3. Naruto: Path of the Ninja (2004)

  4. Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan (2005)

Kicking off the Naruto: Path of series is Naruto: Konoha Ninpōchō, a 2003 release exclusive to Japan's Bandai WonderSwan Color handheld console. This now-retro system, launched in 1999, never saw international release, limiting the game's reach. The game primarily focuses on the Land of Waves arc, but also incorporates additional missions for Team 7.

  1. Naruto: Konoha Senki (2003)

Another Japan-only title, Naruto: Konoha Senki, developed by Tomy and released in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. This game adapts the first 70 episodes of the anime, covering the Land of Waves and Chūnin Exams arcs. Initially, players control only Team 7 and Kakashi, with additional characters unlockable later.

Interestingly, Naruto: Path of the Ninja is the third game in the series. Also a Tomy production (2004), it initially launched on the Nintendo DS in Japan before receiving a global Game Boy Advance port. The story covers early anime arcs, culminating in the Chūnin Exams.

Despite the "RPG 2" designation, Naruto RPG 2: Chidori vs. Rasengan is a direct sequel to Naruto: Path of the Ninja. This 2005 Nintendo DS title, developed by Tomy, remained exclusive to Japan. The story follows the Search for Tsunade arc and concludes with Sasuke's escape from Konoha during the Sasuke Recovery Mission.

  1. Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2 (2006)

Concluding the series is Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2, another Tomy-developed Nintendo DS game. Initially released in Japan in 2006, it later saw a global launch in 2008. Unlike the other games that largely follow the canon storyline, this entry features a completely original story, introducing the Three Ryūdōin Brothers as antagonists and a unique Anbu character as the player's ally.

These five games, while uniquely titled, collectively represent a significant portion of the early Naruto gaming landscape.
