The Cell Garden is a crucial area within your Panopticon in Freedom Wars Remastered that you'll encounter early in the main story. It serves as a safe haven for farming resources, contrasting the dangers of external operations. Throughout the game, you'll discover multiple Cell Gardens, and the method to find them remains consistent across different levels. Here's a comprehensive guide on locating these Cell Gardens and understanding their mechanics for resource farming.
Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances In Freedom Wars Remastered
Your journey to the Cell Garden begins with a mission from Mattias, who sends you to investigate a ghost girl story. To reach the Cell Garden, navigate to Level 2's main cell block, specifically 2-A000. From your cell, look to the left corner of the block for a small room resembling an elevator. Interact with this room to be transported to 2-E165, the same location where you previously encountered Enzo.
Upon arriving at 2-E165, follow the right wall to another small room equipped with a device that will take you to 2-G100. The final step involves using the device in the far room of 2-G100, which leads directly to the Cell Garden.
This sequence of movements is uniform across all levels, making it easier to locate the Cell Garden once you understand the pattern. To expedite your travels, consider unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement, which significantly reduces the time spent navigating to the Cell Garden. After completing the main quest associated with the Cell Garden, you'll have the freedom to visit it anytime, or explore other Cell Gardens. However, securing a specific Entitlement beforehand can enhance your experience.
Each device that transports you to the next room or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon, making them easy to spot.
How Does The Cell Garden Work In Freedom Wars Remastered
The Cell Garden's function during the main story mission differs from its regular operation. Here's how it typically works outside of that mission:
- You're granted a one-minute window before being automatically removed from the area.
- The room's layout changes each time you enter, adding a layer of unpredictability.
- Eight resources, represented by small green orbs, are scattered across the room, ready for collection.
To extend your time in the Cell Garden, you can purchase Entitlements from the Window on Liberty. These upgrades are crucial, especially when dealing with layouts that incorporate more complex puzzles. The first upgrade, available once you reach CODE level 3, extends your stay to two minutes, allowing more time to gather resources efficiently.
