This news is disappointing for fans, particularly given the previous announcement of Football Manager 2025's arrival on Netflix Games for mobile devices—a move that promised to attract a significant new player base. The future of this mobile release is now uncertain.
A Difficult Decision
The late cancellation, especially considering the March release date, is understandably frustrating for many Football Manager fans. The lack of any planned updates to Football Manager 24 to bridge the gap further adds to the disappointment.
However, it’s also important to acknowledge the developer's commitment to releasing a high-quality product. While the communication could have been improved, prioritizing quality over a rushed release is, in a way, commendable. The hope is that Football Manager 26 will see the series return to Netflix Games.
