The Taipei Game Show 2025 was a monumental success for Etheria: Restart, drawing in thousands of eager fans. The event shattered records from previous betas and offered a wealth of exclusive content. Attendees were treated to an array of experiences, from live competitions to hands-on previews, making it an unforgettable occasion.
The Etheria: Restart booth was a hub of excitement, packed with engaging activities. In-game challenges, cosplayer appearances, and exclusive merchandise giveaways kept the crowds buzzing. Fans had the opportunity to win limited-edition collectibles, with some lucky attendees even walking away with a PS5 Pro.
On January 24th and 25th, the popular streamer Akaoni added to the event's allure by taking the stage. Akaoni participated in live battles, hosted challenge events, and engaged with fans, leaving those at the festivities with signed photos as cherished mementos.
Outside of the show floor, Etheria: Restart's closed beta test achieved remarkable milestones. Over 900,000 summons were recorded, with Massiah, Tiamat, and Hoyan standing out as the most coveted characters. Tianyu Rin, a Hyperlinker, achieved the extraordinary feat of collecting every single character, a first in the beta.
In terms of progression, participants typically reached around level 35, but Lulu broke through the ranks, achieving an impressive level 66. The Peak Arena saw 82 competitors secure their rankings, with Fried Bun emerging as the top-ranked Hyperlinker in both PvP modes. Meanwhile, the guild Qiyan City set a new benchmark with the highest single-damage output in the event's toughest battle.
The new boss fight against NicoNana became a standout feature of the test, with over 24,000 attempts recorded. This challenging encounter pushed teams to refine their strategies and test their limits.
