How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.
As E.R.P.O. continues to introduce new monsters, it's essential to keep this page bookmarked for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to deal with each monster. While specific strategies are crucial, you can also use various weapons to combat them:
Melee Combat: Utilize weapons like the Machete or Hammer, available in the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These will spawn in your next level, allowing you to pick them up with M1 and swing at monsters to inflict damage. When facing ranged attackers like the Huntsman, adopt a hit-and-run strategy to minimize damage. Always carry healing packs for melee engagements.
Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, these can be picked up with M1. For grenades, uncork the screw with E before throwing or leaving them to explode, causing massive damage to weaker monsters and significantly harming the tougher ones. Mines need to be placed strategically for monsters to trigger them.
Monster Brawl: You can use a Huntsman's ranged attack against other monsters by positioning yourself behind them and making noise through movement or voice chat. Similarly, you can manipulate Reapers during their attack animations to cause them to damage each other or other monsters.
Robe Guide (Ghost)
The Robe, a shadowy figure, is dangerous upon contact as it will grab and damage you. To evade, either crouch to hide or keep moving to kite it away. The Robe can be dispatched using two grenades or mines by luring it to your location. Melee combat is not recommended due to the Robe's high damage output. Be aware that the Robe teleports and accelerates towards you if you look at its mask.
Reaper Guide
The Reaper, recognizable by its ragged doll appearance and spinning sword arms, can be kited or avoided similar to the Robe but lacks teleportation ability. It's more susceptible to melee attacks, requiring only a few hits to defeat. A single grenade combined with a couple of melee strikes will take it down, and grenades or mines can stun it, making it an easier target.
Apex Predator Guide (Duck)
These seemingly harmless ducks become hostile if provoked through direct contact or environmental damage. Once enraged, they relentlessly pursue and peck at you, though their damage output is low. Your best strategy is to either outrun them or use melee weapons to dispatch them. Using grenades is unnecessary due to their low health.
Huntsman
The Huntsman, a blind marksman, can one-shot you if he hears you via voice chat or fast footsteps. To evade detection, crouch and hide beneath tables. Avoid melee combat as he has auto-aim capabilities. Instead, strategically place mines around his usual path or throw grenades from a crouched position. The ensuing explosion will temporarily deafen him, allowing you to close in with melee weapons.
