A free demo for Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth's spin-off, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, launches today! Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam at 7am Pacific / 10am Eastern / 3pm UK time.
The demo, announced via X/Twitter, offers a taste of the full game's freeroam and combat, though progress won't carry over. Players can explore parts of Honolulu and Madlantis (areas not accessible early in the main game), experiment with Mad Dog and Sea Dog fighting styles, battle powerful bounty enemies, engage in four ship and deck battles within the Pirates' Coliseum, and utilize new customization options. Karaoke with three selectable songs is also included.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, following amnesiac pirate Goro Majima, will be available February 21st on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (no demo for these platforms). The game features ship combat reminiscent of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag and the return of Taiga Saejima, hinting at deeper connections to the main series. Expect a playtime of approximately 15-18 hours, significantly longer than Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. A Kiryu Kazuma costume is unlockable via email signup or Sega rewards program registration.
