BioWare has officially ruled out any downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, focusing instead on the upcoming Mass Effect 5. This news comes from a recent Rolling Stone interview with BioWare creative director John Epler, who confirmed the game's development is complete and that resources are now directed towards their sci-fi flagship franchise.
While no further details on potential Veilguard DLC were provided, Epler did address the possibility of a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the successful Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He expressed enthusiasm for such a project, acknowledging the significant technical challenges involved in remastering games built on EA's older proprietary engines. However, he left the door open, stating, "It’s something that’s not going to be as easy as Mass Effect, but we do love the original games. Never say never." This suggests a remastered collection remains a possibility, though not a current priority for BioWare.
