The Kabukimono

Your journey to dismantle the Kabukimono begins in the Settsu region. Here, you'll meet the compassionate priest, Shin’nyo, who will task you with hunting down these rogue ronin to restore peace to the area. The Kabukimono are a vibrant yet dangerous group of ronin who operate without regard for law or morality, causing havoc wherever they go. It's up to the assassins to intervene and bring them to justice, offering solace to the people they've terrorized.

In total, there are eight distinct targets within the Kabukimono faction that you must track down.

How and Where to Find All Kabukimono Members in Assassin’s Creed Shadows

Assassin’s Creed Shadows challenges you to uncover the whereabouts of your targets through exploration and clue-following, rather than providing direct locations. However, to save you time and effort, here's a detailed guide to locating each of the Kabukimono members:

Ghost General

The Ghost General leads the Hungry Ghosts, a gang notorious for their insatiable appetite for destruction. Clues point you towards Sakai, in the southwestern part of the Izumi Settsu region. Head to the western part of the city to reach the Money Changer District, where you'll find the Ghost General. Given the numbers, it's advisable to pick off his followers one by one or leverage Yasuke’s abilities to balance the odds before confronting the leader.

Grave Dancer

The Grave Dancer commands the Defilers, a group that revels in desecration. To find him, travel northeast from Sakai along the main road until you reach the vicinity of the Sumiyoshi Shrine, just south of Osaka. Here, amidst the graves, you'll encounter the Grave Dancer. Dispatch him to his final resting place with your weapon of choice, be it the Hidden Blade or another.

Ember

Ember heads the Firebrands, a gang intent on purging the world through fire. Journey north from Sakai to Osaka and locate the Fishermen’s District. Further north, you'll find burned buildings where Ember awaits. Clear out any other threats first to ensure a safer environment before extinguishing this fiery foe.

Big Sueki

Big Sueki, a sake-loving ronin, leads a gang that has traded honor for indulgence. To end their revelry, head to Muko Post Town, just north of Amagasaki Castle in the western part of Izumi Settsu. Near the moat, utilize the bamboo and thickets for stealth, and bring a swift end to their party.

Chief Cuckoo

Once honorable, the Chief Cuckoo now leads a group that terrorizes peasants, driving them from their homes. Locate him in the city of Katano, centrally positioned in Izumi Settsu, at the southern edge near the Katano Oil Trading location. Use the environment to your advantage and bring this villain to a fiery end.

Corrupt Blade/Laughing Man/Peacock

After dealing with the other members, you'll face the final trio: Corrupt Blade, Laughing Man, and Peacock. Head to the Nishinomiya Shrine, west of Amagasaki Castle, where you can choose to confront them individually or together. Opting for the latter, proceed west to the Kakogawa Estuary, then northeast to Takagi Otsuka Fort. From there, head east to find the trio in a courtyard near a medium-sized hut. This battle will be challenging, but utilize the NPCs to distract your enemies and strike when the opportunity arises. Eliminate them to eradicate the Kabukimono threat once and for all.
