Hazelight Studios is set to captivate fans with an exhilarating two-player cooperative adventure that surpasses their previous works. The developers promise a rich tapestry of engaging locations, a profound storyline, and a plethora of tasks designed to deeply immerse players in the experience. This upcoming project, dubbed "Split Fiction," is already generating buzz as one of the most eagerly awaited co-op games of the year.
Beyond the main campaign, players can delve into side stories packed with surprises. These additional quests not only unlock new areas but also introduce unique activities, offering even more incentives to explore the expansive world of Split Fiction.
Three years following the successful launch of "It Takes Two," Hazelight Studios released a substantial update in May for their cooperative adventure game. The developers detailed the full scope of these changes on Steam, highlighting the shift towards catering more directly to the core Steam community. Notably, the game no longer requires the EA launcher to operate and is now fully optimized for the Steam Deck.
Players can now seamlessly invite their Steam friends to join the adventure. Additionally, Steam Family Sharing is now fully supported. While an EA account remains necessary for connecting to EA servers, it's no longer required for local play through Steam Remote Play, enhancing accessibility for all players.
