Delta Force, formerly known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is now open for pre-registration on iOS and Android! This Tencent-developed title marks a significant entry into the modern military shooter market, blending diverse missions and modes with a tactical gameplay focus. The game is slated for a late January 2025 release.
While the Delta Force franchise might not be as instantly recognizable as some modern titles, its history is deeply rooted in FPS gaming, predating even Call of Duty. The series has always been known for its realistic shooter mechanics, advanced gadgets, and authentic weaponry based on real-world special forces equipment.
Tencent's Level Infinite has revitalized the Delta Force experience with engaging game modes. "Warfare" mode delivers large-scale combat reminiscent of Battlefield, while "Operations" embraces the extraction shooter genre. A highly anticipated single-player campaign, inspired by the Battle of Mogadishu (and the film Black Hawk Down), is also planned for 2025.
Addressing Cheating Concerns:
Despite high anticipation, Delta Force has faced controversy regarding cheating. Tencent's anti-cheat measures, while ambitious, have drawn criticism for their aggressive approach. While less prevalent on mobile platforms, these concerns may still impact player interest.
However, the mobile version offers a potentially smoother experience, with reduced cheating risks compared to the PC release. The game still has the potential to meet and exceed expectations.
