Finnish game developer Kuuasema has unveiled Cthulu Keeper, an upcoming comedic strategy game that draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's eerie universe, and possibly even Bullfrog's 1997 classic Dungeon Keeper. Currently in development for PC, this game promises to immerse players in the mysterious world of the 1920s.
In Cthulu Keeper, players will embark on a thrilling journey to "build your very own cult and generate fear and chaos around you," as stated by the developers. The game challenges you to construct a sinister lair, delve into dark research, and summon terrifying Lovecraftian monsters. To expand your influence, you'll need to recruit cultists, engage in street canvassing, and achieve various objectives. Be prepared to fend off rival cults and the authorities using an arsenal of traps and spells to protect your burgeoning empire of darkness.
