Mastering the Celestial Codex in Marvel Rivals: A Comprehensive Guide
Marvel Rivals encourages teamwork, but solo players still have plenty to do, especially with its extensive list of solo Achievements. This guide focuses on the VENI VIDI V…? Achievement, requiring interaction with the Celestial Codex.
Locating the Celestial Codex
This Achievement is surprisingly challenging. You need to find the Celestial Codex (a large object) and spray the nearby terminal. The Codex only appears on the Klyntar map, and the Achievement is restricted to Quick Play matches, making its location entirely random.
If you spawn on the attacking side, the Codex is readily visible in your starting area. However, if you're defending, you must wait until the opposing team passes the first checkpoint before accessing their spawn area where the Codex is located.
Utilizing the Celestial Codex
Finding the Codex is only the first step. Once located, use your spray (T on PC, left D-pad on console) on the terminal in front of it. Any spray will work; thoroughly cover the terminal to ensure proper registration.
Defending players venturing into the enemy spawn should exercise caution. While unlikely, an encounter with an opponent is possible. Consider using highly mobile characters like Spider-Man or Rocket for a quicker escape if needed.
Crucially, do not leave the match after completing the Achievement. This is poor sportsmanship and may prevent the Achievement from registering due to incomplete game stat logging. Stay and assist your team to victory.
