Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 has arrived, bringing with it a game-changing feature: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool significantly streamlines the camo progression grind, making the journey to Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter much smoother.

The patch notes describe Camo Challenge Tracking as a way to manually track up to 10 Camo and 10 Calling Card Challenges simultaneously. But the real magic lies in its "Near Completion" notification system. This feature allows you to easily monitor your progress in real-time, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The tracker proactively alerts you to challenges nearing completion, even if they aren't among your actively tracked ones.

How to Track Camo and Calling Card Challenges in Black Ops 6

Selecting challenges to track is simple: navigate to the desired Camo or Calling Card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). This adds it to your tracker. You can then monitor your progress during matches, eliminating post-game checks. Even without actively tracking a challenge, the game automatically highlights those closest to completion, readily accessible in the Daily Challenges section of the lobby.

Unlocking special camos is also easier. Previously requiring nine preceding military camos, now only five are needed. While two special camos are still required for mastery camos, this change significantly reduces the grind.

This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the sheer number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened, making camo acquisition and enjoyment more manageable.
