The Terminator event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone functions similarly to the Archie's Festival Frenzy event. Instead of XP or challenges, players collect "Skulls" – a new in-game currency – to redeem rewards. Skulls drop from enemy eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies modes, and from opening caches in Warzone. Players must physically collect these skulls to add them to their total. The drop rate appears somewhat random, so keep an eye out after each elimination or cache opening for a floating skull, and listen for the accompanying audio cue.
Efficient Skull Farming Strategies:
Maximize your Skull acquisition rate by increasing the frequency of eliminations and cache openings. Here's a breakdown by game mode:
- Black Ops 6 Multiplayer: Kill Confirmed mode on smaller maps like Nuketown is recommended.
- Black Ops 6 Zombies: Utilize the Rampage Inducer to efficiently farm zombie eliminations.
- Warzone: Focus on opening as many chests as possible in Resurgence Solos.
Testing suggests that early rounds in round-based Zombies (before Round 6) with the Rampage Inducer yield the most Skulls per minute, followed by early Resurgence matches in Warzone. However, cache frequency diminishes in later Warzone matches, while Skull spawns increase in later Zombie rounds. For optimal farming, concentrate on early rounds in Liberty Falls or The Tomb, employing GobbleGums like Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power to enhance weapon upgrades and zombie elimination speed. Note that Skull spawns may slow after acquiring around 10 Skulls in a single match.
