Activision has announced a later-than-expected release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone’s upcoming Season 3.

Season 03 is a big moment for Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 6, and we’re taking the time to deliver a great experience starting on April 3.

The tweet confirms a Season 3 launch date of April 3rd, with further details promised next week. This is later than anticipated, as the current Battle Pass countdown suggested a March 20th reset.

Anticipation for Season 3 is high, fueled by ongoing teases of the beloved Verdansk map's return this spring. A recent Call of Duty shop pop-up hinted at "The Verdansk Collection" arriving March 10th, strongly suggesting the map's comeback.

More details are expected next week, likely coinciding with the March 10th "Verdansk Collection" release. Until then, players can enjoy Season 2's offerings: five new multiplayer maps, the return of Gun Game, new weapons and operators, and a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.
