Brok the InvestiGator is getting a festive spin-off! This free visual novel, clocking in at around an hour, offers a heartwarming Christmas prequel to the main game. Forget the beat 'em up action; this is a charming tale focusing on Graff and Ott celebrating a twisted version of Christmas, Natal Untail, in their world of Atlasia. Even with the corrupted holiday, they manage to find Christmas cheer, thanks to a little help from Brok.
This isn't a full-fledged game, but a delightful genre experiment showcasing developer Cowcat's new Brokvn Engine. Given its free-to-play nature and short playtime, it's a generous holiday gift for Brok fans. The shift to a visual novel format is a commendable creative choice.
There's little risk in trying this point-and-click adventure. Unless you actively dislike visual novels, there's no reason to miss out on this unique take on the Brok universe.
