EA has unveiled an exciting new tool called Battlefield Labs, which serves as an internal closed beta for upcoming games in the iconic Battlefield series. The developers have given fans a sneak peek with a brief glimpse of gameplay from the current pre-alpha version.
Within Battlefield Labs, invited participants will have the unique opportunity to test core mechanics and innovative concepts. However, not all tested features are guaranteed to appear in the final release. To ensure confidentiality, participants must sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before diving into the various gameplay elements. The available game modes for testing include Conquest and Breakthrough. The initial testing phases will concentrate on combat dynamics and the game's renowned destruction system, with subsequent phases dedicated to balance testing.
Pre-registration for Battlefield Labs is now open for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series players. In the coming weeks, a select group of a few thousand players will receive invitations, with plans to extend the program to more regions in the future.
