Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as Mecha Weka unveils the monumental 'Trans Edition' update for Battlecruisers 6.4. This update is packed with exciting new content for both single-player and multiplayer enthusiasts, enhancing the game's already rich universe.
What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?
The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, along with two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, expanding strategic options for players.
Existing cruisers are not left behind, as they receive new customization options through three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing players to personalize their fleets like never before.
In Skirmishes, players can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the gameplay. PvP matches have been enhanced with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making for a more immersive experience.
Balancing changes are widespread in this update. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate, which has increased from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health, which has been boosted from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret’s damage has been increased from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, ensuring a more balanced gameplay experience.
Visually, Battlecruisers 6.4 introduces underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea now features enhanced shading, and the visual effects for cruiser and ship deaths have been improved, adding to the game's aesthetic appeal.
