Microsoft's Xbox Developer Direct has generated significant buzz, leaving many wondering which Xbox game franchises stand out the most. This ranking considers series from Xbox, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard with multiple entries. Note: this isn't an exhaustive list of every Xbox game series.
Here's a personal tier list based on enjoyment over the years:
My S-tier includes Doom, with its recent installments ranking among my favorite first-person shooters. The upcoming Doom: The Dark Ages appears promising. Forza Horizon also earns an S-tier spot; arguably the best racing games I've played, surpassing even Burnout 3 and Burnout Revenge.
Placing Halo in A-tier might be controversial. While Halo 2 and 3 boast exceptional campaigns, recent inconsistencies prevent a higher ranking. Personally, I'm a bigger fan of Fallout than Elder Scrolls.
