Pokemon TCG Pocket Blastoise Wonder Pick Event Updates Rewards

Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: Part Two is Live!

New cosmetic rewards are now available in the second phase of Pokemon TCG Pocket's Blastoise Wonder Pick event. The in-game shop boasts fresh Blastoise-themed goodies, including a new icon, coin, card sleeves, and a striking blue Blastoise playmat.

This second phase runs until January 22nd, giving players ample time to earn event tickets. However, the event shop remains open until January 28th, providing a grace period to redeem accumulated tickets for rewards. Remember, while the shop stays open longer, ticket acquisition ends on January 22nd.

Following a holiday season brimming with Pack Hourglasses and free booster packs, the event pace has slowed. Many players have completed the Mythical Island booster packs and eagerly anticipate the next expansion, rumored for late January. The confirmation that Pack Hourglasses will be usable in future expansions has prompted many to stockpile them.

The updated Blastoise Wonder Pick Event provides a fresh incentive for daily logins. Players can exchange surplus event tickets for up to 1,000 Shinedust (50 Shinedust per ticket).

Blastoise Wonder Pick Event: A Recap

The event's first phase (January 6th onwards) introduced two promo cards featuring Squirtle and Charmander, boasting unique artwork despite identical attacks to their standard counterparts. Rewards from the first phase, including a Blue-themed backdrop and a Blue & Blastoise cover, remain accessible. New missions, tied to Wonder Pick participation and collecting Fire/Water-type cards, grant Event Shop Tickets. The Bonus Pick also offers these tickets, facilitating item acquisition. Daily logins are crucial for completing all missions and acquiring all promo cards, as trading these limited cards may not be possible, according to ongoing speculation.
