Wolverine's Cheeky Xbox Controller Lets You Swap Butt Covers With Deadpool's

Microsoft revealed Wolverine’s very own Cheeky Controller to celebrate the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie. Read on to learn more about the giveaway that has fans clawing for a chance to win the unique collectible.

After celebrating the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine movie with a Deadpool-themed console and controller, Xbox is back at it with another anatomically-inspired design, this time channeling the gruff and surprisingly curvaceous Wolverine.

"Okay bub, we heard you! In anticipation of Marvel Studios’ ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ coming to theaters on July 26 and following the release of the Deadpool-designed custom Xbox Wireless Controller, fans around the globe clamored for Logan’s very own Adamantium-tough tush (on a controller, of course)," said Xbox on a blog post.

"And because we can’t resist a little friendly competition (certainly not due to fear of his temper), our team went straight into production on this custom Wolverine-inspired Xbox Wireless Controller."

Unlike the Deadpool set, Wolverine’s Cheeky Controller will not be accompanied by a matching Xbox console. Nevertheless, the controller features a bold yellow and blue color scheme reminiscent of the character’s classic costume. Its back panel, like its Deadpool counterpart, resembles Wolverine’s adamantium-coated posterior.

Xbox claims that the controller has a "firm (yet surprisingly comfortable) grip", but don’t fret if the textured back panel isn’t to your liking. The panel is magnetic and easily removable. In fact, you could even swap Deadpool and Wolverine’s back panels if you somehow managed to get your hands on them.

Enter the Giveaway

To enter the giveaway for Wolverine’s controller, keep an eye out for the designated promotional post on Microsoft’s Instagram page featuring the hashtag #MicrosoftCheekySweepstakes. Once you have located it, simply like the post and reply with the same hashtag.

At the time of writing, the official giveaway post has yet to go live, and details like the deadline and number of winners are still undisclosed.

While the official rules for Deadpool’s giveaway mention "Two (2) custom Xbox Wireless Controllers inspired by Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine", it is unclear if the prize includes the Wolverine-themed controller.
