Fantasian Neo Dimension: Unlocking the Power of the Tachyon Medal
Fantasian Neo Dimension plunges players into a breathtaking world alongside Leo and his companions as they confront Jas's devastating "Zero" plan, a threat capable of obliterating all existence. The game's captivating story and innovative gameplay mechanics create a truly immersive experience.
The Tachyon Medal is a crucial late-game item integral to a challenging and extensive side quest. Obtaining it is merely the first step; its true purpose unfolds later. This guide details how to acquire and utilize the Tachyon Medal.
Locating the Tachyon Medal
The Tachyon Medal's existence is first hinted at in Shangri-La, and it's the final item you'll acquire before the final showdown. To obtain it, advance through the main storyline until you reach Sanctum, situated in the God Realm, accessible via the Communication Network. Within the Mirror of Order, you'll face God's Predator, a formidable but conquerable boss. Be prepared, as it frequently summons allies and employs a devastating "Consume" attack, draining 90% of your health. Kina's healing abilities will be invaluable. Equipping Petrification Null gear is highly recommended.
Leo's Fire Samidare +2 should swiftly dispatch summoned enemies. Consider including Cherryl, whose "Concentrate" and "Charge" abilities inflict massive damage.
After defeating God's Predator, proceed to the Laboratory via the Balcony. This area is filled with rubble. A chest containing the Tachyon Medal is located on your right.
Utilizing the Tachyon Medal
Activating the Tachyon Medal requires completing two key tasks. First, reach the Altar in Shangri-La. Second, complete the Cinderella Tri-Stars side quest. These three stars appear in eight locations, the first two being part of the main story:
- En New District
- Midi Toy Box - Secret Room
- Royal Capital - Main Street
- Frozen Tundra - Center
- Hidden Valley – Duet Path
- Ancient Hill – River
- Nameless Island – Depths
- Shangri-La – Fallen City
Defeat the bosses in this precise order. After the final defeat in Shangri-La, you can open three chests beneath the Altar. One contains the Holy Belt, granting All Ailment Null.
Once all chests are opened, a glowing door will appear, prompting you to use the Tachyon Medal to rewind time. Possessing the Medal initiates NG+ from this point, carrying over your levels, items, and equipment. While enemies are significantly tougher, this shouldn't be overly concerning, especially if you've completed all side quests beforehand. You'll also unlock the Time Reverse Trophy/Achievement. Your journey to save the Human Realm begins anew.
