In April, we previewed the trailer for LemonChili's Super Farming Boy. This game takes the familiar cozy farming sim formula – planting, harvesting, building your ideal farm – and injects it with lightning-fast arcade action and a challenging antagonist. The description "Harvest Moon on steroids" felt apt after viewing the trailer. Players control a super-powered boy named Super, allowing for rapid-fire crop harvesting and exciting combo possibilities. If you missed it, check out the trailer below:
I'm a big fan of this high-octane take on the farming sim genre, and this week LemonChili revealed a release roadmap for Super Farming Boy, including an iOS pre-order on the App Store. While a full launch isn't imminent (Early Access is planned for Q2 2024, with a full release to follow), pre-ordering the iOS version now provides a 20% discount. For those eager to try it out sooner, a playable Windows demo is available on Steam and Itch.io. Regardless of whether you pre-order, Super Farming Boy is definitely a title to watch in the coming year.
