Since its May 2024 announcement, accompanied by a trailer and Tokyo Game Show demo, updates on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater have been relatively scarce. However, producer Noriaki Okamura recently spoke to 4Gamer, emphasizing the development team's commitment to delivering a highly polished and high-quality remake in 2025.

The remake of 2004's Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater promises next-gen enhancements, including the integration of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain mechanics, along with fresh voice work from the original cast. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is slated for release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
