Marvel Rivals Reveals Mister Fantastic Gameplay

Marvel Rivals Season 1: Mister Fantastic and the Fantastic Four Arrive

Marvel Rivals' Season 1: Eternal Night Falls, launching January 10th at 1 AM PST, will feature the debut of Mister Fantastic, battling Dracula. This initial glimpse of Mister Fantastic's gameplay showcases his intellect-driven combat style, utilizing his elastic abilities to creatively defeat opponents.

The entire Fantastic Four will be introduced throughout Season 1, but not simultaneously. Alongside Mister Fantastic, the Invisible Woman will join the roster at the season's launch. Human Torch and The Thing are anticipated to arrive approximately six to seven weeks later. NetEase Games has confirmed that each three-month season will include a significant mid-season update.

Gameplay footage reveals Mister Fantastic's diverse abilities. He uses his stretchy limbs for powerful punches, can grapple multiple enemies, and inflates his body for enhanced strength. His ultimate ability appears to involve a repeated, powerful slam attack reminiscent of The Winter Soldier. While speculation exists regarding a potential Season 1 bonus tied to the Fantastic Four's arrival, this remains unconfirmed.

Leaked Information: Human Torch and The Thing

While official details on the remaining Fantastic Four members are scarce, leaked information suggests Human Torch's abilities will involve flame-based area control and synergy with Storm to create devastating fire tornadoes. The Thing is rumored to be a Vanguard-class character, although his abilities remain undisclosed.

Initial Roster Expectations and Future Characters

Despite previous rumors suggesting Blade and Ultron's inclusion, NetEase Games has clarified that the Fantastic Four will be the sole character additions in Season 1. This contradicts earlier leaks suggesting Ultron's presence at launch, now believed to be postponed to Season 2 or later. The absence of Blade, a natural counter to Dracula, has also surprised some players. Nevertheless, the anticipation for the upcoming content remains high among the player base.
