Recent leaks suggest a quality-of-life improvement for Arlecchino in Genshin Impact's upcoming Version 5.4: a new swap animation and a Bond of Life indicator. This five-star Pyro DPS character, introduced in the Fontaine arc, has proven a popular choice despite her complex kit.
The leak, originating from Firefly News and shared on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, highlights a visual indicator appearing above Arlecchino's model after being swapped out. While the indicator's exact function isn't confirmed, it's widely believed to display her Bond of Life (BoL) levels. This unique Fontaine mechanic, similar to Natlan's Nightsoul system, acts as a reverse shield, depleting the BoL bar instead of increasing HP upon healing.
This QoL change, while not boosting Arlecchino's damage directly, significantly enhances usability, particularly in complex battles demanding attention to multiple targets and effects.
