Fortnite's new "Reload" mode brings back classic locations with a modern twist! This fast-paced mode throws 40 players onto a smaller map featuring iconic spots like Tilted Towers and Retail Row.
What Makes Reload Mode Unique?
Reload mode focuses on squad survival. A full squad wipe means elimination – no second chances. Whether you prefer Battle Royale or Zero Build, the goal is to be the last team standing.
The mode features a compact island, no vehicles, and a mix of unvaulted weapons including fan favorites like the Revolver, Tactical Shotgun, Lever Action Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, and Grappler.
Victory Crowns remain, and reboots are possible, granting a common Assault Rifle (and building materials in Build mode). A Reboot Timer, starting at 30 seconds and increasing to 40, adds urgency. Eliminating enemies reduces this timer.
Elimination and Rewards
Eliminated players drop Small Shield Potions, ammo, and building materials (in Build mode), keeping the action intense.
Completing introductory quests rewards players with:
- Three quests: Digital Dogfight Contrail
- Six quests: Pool Cubes Wrap
- Nine quests: NaNa Bath Back Bling
- Victory Royale: The Rezzbrella Glider
