NCSoft has announced the end-of-service (EOS) for its multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Battle Crush. This is surprising, given the game never reached a fully polished launch. Following a global test in August 2023 and an early access release in June 2024, the game is shutting down just months later.
Battle Crush Shutdown Date:
The game servers will officially close on November 29th, 2024. In-game purchases have already ceased. Refunds are available for purchases made between June 27th, 2024, and October 23rd, 2024.
Android and Steam players can request refunds from December 2nd, 2024, to January 2025. Download any desired game content by November 28th, 2024, as the game will become inaccessible afterward.
The official website will remain online until May 30th, 2025, for any necessary support. Social media accounts and Discord will be deactivated on January 31st, 2025.
Unexpected Closure?
The closure is understandably disappointing for players who invested time and effort. While Battle Crush offered enjoyable gameplay, it lacked the polish and refinement needed for long-term success. Some players reported clunky controls and pacing issues. These shortcomings ultimately contributed to the game's EOS.
You can still download and play Battle Crush on the Google Play Store before the shutdown. For more gaming news, check out our upcoming coverage of the story-driven Autumn Season quests in Black Desert Mobile.
