Disney Speedstorm welcomes another iconic animated character: Maui! This demi-god, inspired by Polynesian mythology and a standout star from the hit movie Moana, joins the racing roster. While Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson won't be voicing him, Maui boasts impressive abilities.
Disney Speedstorm's diverse cast, ranging from Monsters, Inc. to Pirates of the Caribbean, already makes it a dream for Disney fans. However, with the recent release of Moana 2, the addition of Maui in Season 11, Part One, is a welcome boost.
Maui's signature move, "Hero to All," uses a magical fishing hook to send opponents flying. A fully charged version transforms him into a hawk for a powerful counter-attack.
Disney Speedstorm cleverly serves both fans and Disney's marketing needs, keeping beloved characters in the spotlight. Moana 2's success might even lessen the need for this extra promotion.
