To bake the Neomun-Cake, you'll need:
- Vex Milk (from defeating Vex enemies)
- Dark Frosting (from defeating enemies using Stasis or Strand weapons/abilities)
- 15 Dawning Essence (earned through various in-game activities)
Dawning Essence is readily acquired through regular gameplay, weekly and daily activities.
Ingredient Acquisition:
Equip a Stasis or Strand weapon (abilities also work) and hunt Vex. Nessus is ideal due to its high Vex concentration. Patrol the zone, complete Lost Sectors, or tackle Strikes (though patrolling Nessus is generally faster).
Crafting the Neomun-Cake:
Once you've gathered all ingredients, open your inventory and access Eva Levante's Holiday Oven 2.4. Select the Neomun-Cake recipe to begin crafting.
The Dawning often involves delivering various baked goods to NPCs. The Neomun-Cake is a requirement for quests like the Cookie Delivery Helper, alongside other treats such as the Lavender Ribbon Cookies (a returning recipe).
