The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, bringing returning costumed Pokémon and a new addition: costumed Minccino and Cinccino!
When is Costumed Minccino Available?
Costumed Minccino and Cinccino debuted during Fashion Week 2025, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025. These stylish Pokémon sport rhinestone glasses and adorable bows. Costumed Minccino has a shiny variant, unlike its evolution, Cinccino. The event also features costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms in the wild and Raids.
How to Catch Costumed Minccino:
Unlike previous debuts, costumed Minccino is primarily obtainable through Raids and a paid research ticket.
One-Star Raids:
Costumed Minccino appears in One-Star Raids, easily soloable. However, Shinx and Furfrou also appear in these Raids, requiring some searching to find a Minccino Raid.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket grants XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and guaranteed encounters with costumed Minccino. Completing the tasks ensures at least one capture.
Field Research Tasks:
While Field Research Tasks offer event Pokémon encounters, Niantic hasn't specified if Minccino is included. Free players may only encounter other costumed Pokémon.
Obtaining Costumed Cinccino:
Evolve a costumed Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone to obtain Cinccino in its fashionable attire.
